Torsion (2017)

Featuring the dancers Michelle Beard, Whitney Geldon and Melissa Sanderson, Torsion is a 20-minute trio choreographed by Jordan Fuchs that emerges from experiential movement explorations of the pelvis and the body’s connective tissue, the fascia. These explorations recreated from video, create a unique movement vocabulary, hypnotic in its cycles and vivid in its clarity, a space of energizing subtlety and heightened awareness. With an original sound composition by Andy Russ and lighting design by Roma Flowers.
