Rest Stop Rendezvous (2003)

Rest Stop Rendezvous is the evening-length premiere of a slow-burning dance of intersecting intimacies and awkwardness. Entwined in a desolate and deserted landscape defined by the slide projections of Katie Glicksberg and the soundscapes of Andy Russ, six strangers journey together to a place they don't know, for reasons they can no longer remember. Created and performed in collaboration with Rafael Cohen, Jennifer Dignan, Veronica Dittman, Carolyn Hall, and Storme Sundberg, Rest Stop Rendezvous features music by Andy Russ, visual design by Katie Glicksberg, costumes by Joy Havens and lighting design by Kathy Kaufmann.

The creation of Rest Stop Rendezvous was made possible, in part, with funds from the Danspace Project's 2003-04 Commissioning Initiative with support from the Jerome Foundation.
